Tadpole Pond is where Mallow grew up, and serves to teach the player lore and mechanics. It is reached from Midas River and leads to Rose Way and Rose Town.
The player can trade Coins and Gold Bars for Frog Coins by talking to the right tadpole on the left side.
It is highly recommended to talk to Toadbert on the east side of the main area to learn about Status Ailments, Debuffs, and Elements.
After Smithy is defeated, Frogfucius plays a major role in giving the player direction on where to go to find the Superbosses and what order to do them.
