The Sky Troopa Minigame is a brief, repeatable minigame on the cliff north of the final whirlpool area in Land's End where Mario must jump from Sky Troopa to Sky Troopa to scale the cliff.
There is no cost to try and no limit to the number of times this can be done.

Normal mode:
- <8 seconds: 10 Frog Coins
- 8-9.99 seconds: Sonic Shell (5 Frog Coins if already in inventory)
- 10-11.99 seconds: 2 Frog Coins
- 12-14.99 seconds: 1 Frog Coin
Hard mode:
- <3.5 seconds: 10 Frog Coins
- 3.5-3.99 seconds: Sonic Shell (5 Frog Coins if already in inventory)
- 4-4.99 seconds: 2 Frog Coins
- 5-6.99 seconds: 1 Frog Coin

Due to the fact the Sky Troopas move significantly faster in hard mode, a shortcut exists and the optimal path is different there.
