The Midas River Minigame is a repeatable minigame in Midas River where Mario collects Coins, Frog Coins, Galaxy Coins, and Flowers while falling down the waterfall and Coins while riding a barrel.
Entering from Kero Sewers is free, but it costs 100 Coins to use the trampoline in Midas River as a shortcut.
Note: Coins collected during this minigame are not kept, but everything else is.
Rewards[]
- 10 Frog Coins for collecting 60 Coins (first time)
- 10 Frog Coins for per 50-80 Coins (on repeat, depends on high score)
- 30 Frog Coins for collecting all 100 Coins in a single attempt

For the first part, follow the coin path and collect the goodies as desired.
For the second part, keep in mind the side with the most coins follows a pattern: near -> near -> near -> far -> repeat.
In hard mode, the fish is faster and still hits you if you jump on the early side of the coin.
