  • Giving Mario a Flame Ring and Mallow Peach's ??? greatly improves their survivability, letting you take down each Body Guard before focusing on Mack. Don't forget to equip Mario with Zap Punch for extra damage.
  • Alternatively, due to the relatively high HP of the Body Guards, it makes sense to give Mario a Vest and Peach's ??? and an Energizer and focus down Mack before he can use Sword Rain, although this is difficult to do.
  • Either way, make sure to have plenty of HP so you can Defend when he charges for Sword Rain.
