Ice Cave is unlocked as soon as Bowyer is defeated, although it can't be entered until after Valentina is defeated. It connects Rose Town to Moleville and Mysterious Island.
In the second to last pipe in the area with a row of pipes, you can find the Goomba Thumping Minigame, an amazing way to get Galaxy Coins.
After the conditions are met, Shiva and hidden Blue Tonberries can be found in the pipe in the middle of the room with the three Amoeba standing on pillars. Another Blue Tonberry can be found in the pipe in the middle of the room after, with Azelf in the pipe at the very end.
