Gaz is a child who Mario encounters in the inn in Rose Town.
Once Bowyer is defeated, talking to Gaz will trigger a cutscene where the party attempts to explain the situation, eventually resulting in Gaz giving Geno the Spark Shot.
Much later, Gaz will also hint at a mysterious creature in the Forest Maze, referring to Celebi.
